By accessing and using Oganotary's digital notarization platform ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.

Oganotary provides a digital notarization platform that connects users with licensed notaries public in Nigeria for remote online notarization (RON) services.
Our services include but are not limited to:
- Document notarization via secure video conferencing
- Identity verification services
- Digital signature and seal application
- Secure document storage and delivery
- Electronic journal of notarial acts
3User Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements
- Provide valid government-issued identification
- Have access to reliable internet connection and video-capable device
- Be physically present in Nigeria during the notarization session
4Account Registration
To access our services, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Ensuring your account information remains current and accurate
5Fees and Payment
Notarization services are provided for a fee as displayed on our platform. Payment terms include:
- Fees are due and payable before service completion
- All payments are processed securely through our payment partners
- Fees are non-refundable except as required by law
- We reserve the right to modify fees with 30 days' notice
6Notarization Process
All notarizations are performed by licensed notaries public in accordance with Nigerian law. The process includes:
- Identity verification through government-issued photo ID
- Verification of the signer's willingness and competence
- Witnessing the electronic signature via live video session
- Application of the notary's electronic signature and seal
- Completion of the electronic notarial journal
7User Responsibilities
As a user of our platform, you agree to:
- Provide truthful and accurate information
- Use the service only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to circumvent security measures
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Respect the rights of other users and notaries
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
8Prohibited Uses
You may not use our service to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent documents
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform
- Upload malicious software or harmful content
- Engage in any form of harassment or abuse
9Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oganotary shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or our services shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
10Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information and comply with applicable data protection laws, including the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).
11Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
12Governing Law
These Terms shall be interpreted and governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
13Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on our platform and updating the "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of the service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
